The Gladigator in Easterhouse

Gladigator is the fictional role model to hundreds of children in our community. He is a cross between an alligator and a Roman gladiator. His name is actually Gladiator with a “g” in the middle. He fronts many children’s initiatives and is very much the Pied Piper of Greater Easterhouse.

He has no trouble leading the children into sport in later years as he just happens to be an all round Olympic Champion. He can kick a ball, lift weights, run, jump, throw a javelin, and much more.

When it comes to keeping children fit and active through play and sport, while at the same time shielding them from anti-social behaviour, Gladigator is second to none.

Once the children get involved in sport, they meet some positive sporting role models. As they grow up, they may excel at sport themselves and become the real-life role models of the community for the next generation.
