Here are the main things to be aware of if you want to hire any inflatable activity:
Check that all equipment has the relevant periodic test certificates, including PAT tests for electrical equipment.
These should take into account that the equipment has been checked for any defects, such as bare or exposed wires on any of the electrical equipment, and that no cables cause a trip hazard.
Public liability insurance should have a minimum cover of £5 million.
What we bring to your event (and what you must ask for):
• a risk assessment form to make sure that there are no defects on the equipment that will effect the quality of any service
• employers’ and public liability insurances to protect the public
• periodic tests on air bags, PAT tests of the electrical equipment, such as blowers and cable extensions
