A delighted Samantha added "obviously I was honoured to represent Britain at the games, I am delighted to have won another gold medal. I put down much of my success to the coaching & development from the age of 8 years from Alex & his team at The Gladiators, not only have I achieved on a sporting level but fortunately Alex has managed to offer me an employment opportunity. This allows me to both train & work. I would also like to thank Councillor Gerard Leonard for his help in getting me to the games in Shanghai, if it had not been for him & the likes of Alex Weir and his team at GERA & once again the generosity of The Gladiator Programme, all three groups contributed to make my trip possible for this I will be forever grateful".
